LEAF DUMP NOW OPEN
Each year the resident at 558 Etter Road allows Suffield Township residents a place to dump their leaves. Beginning October 3rd, you may dump leaves on the west side of the property at 558 Etter Road. The leaf dump is open from daybreak until dark. DO NOT GO THERE AFTER DARK. Leaves only, no branches or other fill. Thanks!
Suffield Looks To Hire Part Time Road Worker
Suffield Township is hiring to fill a year round Part-Time Road Crew position. Duties to include, but not limited to: assist road crew with general road maintenance and township building maintenance. Qualified candidates must have a valid Ohio driver’s license (CDL a plus), a high school diploma or equivalent and good communication skills. BZA Approves Driving Range and Sod Farm
The Suffield Township Board of Zoning Appeals held a hearing on Thursday November 30th and granted the owners of Paradise Lake Country Club a variance to allow them to use some acreage along Randolph Road for a sod farm and a driving range. The board voted 3-0 to allow the changes. Some neighbors had questions about potential noise and were concerned that the driving range would cast unwanted lights onto their property. After some discussion, these concerns faded.
No Historical Society In December
There will be no meeting of the Suffield Township Historical Society in December. The January meeting will be on Monday January 15th at 7:00 PM in the Community Room of the Fire House. It will be a strictly business meeting, however, all are still welcome to attend.

Falcons Drop Two In A Row
The Field boys dropped to 1-3 with a 56-46 loss to Norton on Friday December 8th. Then they lost at Rittman Saturday to the Indians 58-45, despite 24 points from Caleb Francis. On December 12th the Mogadore boys open at Crestwood. The Field girls hosted the Coventry Comets and lost 55-42 on December 9th. Also on December 9th, the Mogadore girls whipped Crestwood 53-37, behind 25 points by Erika Johnson ...... Click here to see the schedules and scores.

The FALL 2017 Newsletter is available for you to read online. The Suffield Township Historical Society urges you to read the semi-annual newsletter which is published right here on this website. License Plate Renewals
When buying new license plates, or renewing them, be sure the registrar at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles knows that you live in Suffield Township. If you simply state your address as Mogadore, the road tax funds, which should go to Suffield Township, will go to Mogadore Village, due to your zip code. Keep your tax money in the township!
Suffield Township Website Has 165,000 Visitors Since April 1, 2015
As of December 7, 2017, Suffield Township's website had 165,077 visitors since April 1, 2015. Since the "new" website was adopted, the daily viewership has risen from about 40 per day to over 212 per day. Thanks for taking a look at "suffieldtownshipohio.com". Tell your friends about us.
Wingfoot Lake State Park is Suffield's only park. It was opened by the Ohio State Parks & Recreation Department in 2009. Goodyear had operated the park since the 1960's as a private playground for its employees and for corporate retreats. As the company footprint grew smaller in the Akron area Goodyear decided to close the park in 2006.
